Abstract:
To provide a method for correcting a steel plate using a roller leveler that can suppress undercorrection of the steel plate due to uneven wear of a leveling roll to improve correction effect on the steel plate, even if using an old style roller leveller not provided with a crowning mechanism of the roll.SOLUTION: A method for correcting a steel plate using a roller leveler, in which the steel plate is corrected using the roller leveler having a plurality of leveling rolls arranged vertically zigzag along a path line, comprises: a step of adjusting a zero point of a leveling roll gap with a non-worn part of an end part in a shaft direction of the leveling roll as a reference; and a step of setting rolling reductions of the leveling roll on the basis of an average wear volume of the leveling roll in a steel plate width of a steel plate to be passed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
