PURPOSE: To miniaturize a whole device, make it lightweight, and sufficiently keep the insulation clearance between lightning insulators and jumper wires above them by forming the lightning insulators into a pair type, and arranging them on both sides of a strain insulator.

CONSTITUTION: A strain insulator 10 is suspended via a ground side connecting metal J1 and a charge side connecting metal J2 on the right and left ends respectively. Lightning insulators are provided on at least one or both of the connecting metals J1, J2. The lightning insulators contain a current limiting element with nonlinear voltage/current characteristics respectively, and they are formed into a pair type in parallel with the strain insulator 10 incliningly upward. Pairs of lightning insulators 23A, 23B and 28A, 28B are provided on the ground side and the charge side respectively, for example. The lightning insulators 23A, 23B and 28A, 28B are divided into multiple portions, and they can be miniaturized. The whole device is miniaturized and made lightweight, and the separation from dumper wires is facilitated.
