Abstract:
To provide a strand rod connection method and a connection structure capable of providing firm connection.SOLUTION: A strand rod connection method is provided to connect two strand rods formed by twisting a plurality of strands 10 at end portions in a longitudinal direction. The strand rod connection method includes: a first process of untwisting the strands 10 of rod end portions 17 in each of the two strand rods 1; and a second process of overlapping the connection regions 33 of the untwisted strands 10 of the two strand rods 1 in a radial direction of the strands 10, and adhering them by an adhesive agent. In the second process, the connection regions 33 are adhered by the adhesive agent so as to unify shearing stress generated on an adhesive agent layer 41 between the connection regions 33 in a direction of tensile force, when the tensile force in an axis W direction is acted on the connected strand rods 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
