The strap connector is composed of female and male members (3 and 4) attached to both ends of the strap (2) whose cross section is circular. The male member (4) is composed of a main body (41) and an engaging projection (42) projecting from the main body. The main body (41) has an outer diameter roughly equal to that of the strap (2) and a housing part (43) for housing the end of the strap (2) is formed on the rear side. The female member (3) is composed of a main body (31). The main body has the outer diameter roughly equal to that of the strap (2) and a receiving part (32) for receiving the engaging projection (42) and a housing part (33) for housing the strap end are formed. To the receiving part (32), an elastic ring (34) is fitted.
