To provide a stretchable polyester cloth enabling the development to the field of a thin polyester cloth which has been difficult by conventional methods.

The stretchable polyester cloth is a woven fabric produced by using a polyester multifilament A containing a polyethylene terephthalate component as a main repeating unit, containing ≥85 mol% terephthalic acid component based on the total acid component and having an intrinsic viscosity [η]of 0.50-0.75 as at least a part of the warp and/or weft. The cloth further satisfies the following formula; 8,000/τ(DX0.90)≤Tw≤30,000/τ(DX0.90) wherein Tw is the real twist number (number/m) of the polyester multifilament A and D is the total denier (dtex) of the multifilament A.
