Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently stretch a pair of channel stocks of a left/right symmetrical shape of a vehicle frame, etc.
SOLUTION: In the stretching method to charge a prescribed length channel stock in a stretching device and to bend to a prescribed shape, for bending the channel stock 2 to the shape of a pair of left/right symmetrical, a die 3 is arranged front/rear symmetrically in the stretching device 1, plural cores are arranged in a row at the inner side of charged channel stock 2 along the die 3, the cores arranged in a row are supported slidable back and forth along the bent part of channel stock 2, while stretching both ends of the channel stock 2 by stretching cylinders 13, the channel stock 2 is bent in the front/rear prescribed directions to be form to a front/rear symmetrical shape.
