Abstract:
To provide a string for rackets having balanced shot feeling at impact and ball flight by controlling an elastic modulus.SOLUTION: A string 2 for rackets is composed of thermoplastic synthetic fiber filaments 3 and 4. The filaments 3 and 4 are melt-spun by blending a thermoplastic polymer with dispersed carbon nanotubes (CNT) and a thermoplastic polymer of a base material, where the thermoplastic polymer with dispersed CNT and the thermoplastic polymer of the base material are immiscible, the thermoplastic polymer of the base material is a sea component and the thermoplastic polymer with dispersed CNT is an island component. When the filaments are 100 mass%, the carbon nanotubes are 0.0001-0.1 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
