Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain safety and controllability of a system to be controlled even in the case of a malfunction at a processor side while forming a system for applying a control command directly to the system to be controlled by a direct input/output interface and to eliminate doubling of the system.
CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic processor 3 and a system 9 to be controlled are digital controllers for directly transferring a control signal through a direct input/output interface 15. The interface 15 insulates a signal transfer to the processor 3 with photocouplers 21, 22, stores a control command to be applied from the processor 3 to the system to be controlled as a counted value of a reversible counter 35, and maintains a present state of the system by the counter 35 at the time of a system malfunction of the processor side. Contents of the counter 35 are increased/decreased by manually operated switches 31, 32 to continue the control of the system. A power source is doubled to eliminate down of the power source.
