Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly deliver a steel strip to a steel strip proceeding passage from a guide surface by making the steel strip go along the guide surface by certainly guiding a head end part of the steel strip to the guide surface at the time of starting passing the steel strip on a strip material proceeding direction changing device to guide the steel strip in a floating state by blowout of gas from the circular surface shaped guide surface.
SOLUTION: A spiral strip type guide surface is formed on a semicircular surface 11 of a cylindrical body 1, and a strip passing guide 3 rising from both end sides in the width direction of this guide surface and rectiangularly bent to the central side is provided along the spiral guiding direction. Pinch rolls 51, 61 are provided on the inlet side and the outlet side of the strip passing guide 3, and strip passing tables 52, 62 are provided between each of the pinch rolls 51, 61 and the strip passing guide 3.
