Abstract:
To provide a plate thickness control method that improves a product yield of a cold rolled steel sheet by reducing an amount of steel strip cut and discarded in the front and rear of a welding part when proportional-plus-integral control is continued with respect to an unsteady part including the welding part of the steel strip in a cold rolling mill.SOLUTION: In a plate thickness control method in a cold rolling mill of a steel strip 6 including a welding part 11 in which a preceding material 61 and a succeeding material 62 are joined, a proportional-plus-integral control with a roll gap of a rolling stand 4 as a final control element is performed, the proportional-plus-integral control is continued with respect to an unsteady part 21 in the front and rear of the welding part 11, and after the welding part 11 passes a rolling position of the rolling stand 4, an integration term reset of initializing an integration term of the proportional-plus-integral control is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
