PURPOSE: To facilitate the drawing-out treatment for thread edge by installing a thread suction port and a digging-up nozzle which revolves integrally with the thread suction port and sprays pressurized air onto the outer peripheral surface of a bobbin, in a stripping-off apparatus which digs-up the edge or thread on a full bobbin and holds the thread.

CONSTITUTION: When a package P loaded onto a tray 2 is transferred onto a conveyor 1 and stops at a prescribed position, a thread suction apparatus 6 starts operation, and an absorbing device 27 and a digging-up device 18 start revolution, by a motor 40, in the reverse direction to that of winding of thread on the package P. Then, the digging-up device 18 jets-out air in the tangential direction at the position close to a punch winding part B, and the absorbing device 7 revolves, generating suction stream at a suction port 8. Therefore, the edge of thread is dug-up by receiving the air jet flow, and the edge of the floated-up thread is attracted to the suction port 8. When a detector 69 detects the attraction of the edge of thread into a suction device 69, a motor 40 stops operation.
