Title:
STROBOSCOPIC CONTROLLER FOR CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0675277
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restore a stroboscopic controller to an initial condition by providing a means forcibly and initially resetting the stroboscopic controller by means of an operation for closing a lens barrier.

CONSTITUTION: A circuit 206 forcibly and initially resetting the stroboscopic controller detects whether a switch 105 used both as a main switch and a lens barrier switch 105 is turned on or off by using a condition detecting terminal 209. When it is turned off, a signal between the stroboscopic light emitting signal transmitting terminal 203 of the CPU 201 and the receiving terminal 205 of the stroboscopic control circuit 204 is monitored, and when erroneous stroboscopic light emission operation occurs, a resetting signal is transmitted to the resetting signal terminal 202 of the CPU 201 from the circuit 206, so that the CPU 201 is forcibly and initially reset. Consequently, a stroboscopic light emitting signal from the CPU 201 caused by malfunction is prevented from being outputted from the stroboscopic light emitting signal transmitting terminal 203.
