Abstract:
To provide a structural color material that shows excellent color development, has small angular dependence, and excels in followability to base material and impression resistance, and a coating for forming a structural color that includes the structural color material, and a coating layer made therewith.SOLUTION: A structural color material develops a color by light interference, the structural color material including an aggregate in which spherical fine particles (excluding black fine particles) and black fine particles are aggregated with polyvalent metal salts.
