Abstract:
To provide a structural color material less in color tone change depending observation angles than prior art, and having brilliant.SOLUTION: There is provided a structural color material having a first structure 103, and a second structure 106 exhibiting different structural color from structural color of the first structure, in which the first structure contains a first substrate 102 and a plurality of first particles 101 having refractive index difference from refractive index of the first substrate, the second structure contains a second substrate 105 and a plurality of second particles 104 having refractive index difference from refractive index of the second substrate, and an absolute value of color difference ΔE defined by L*a*b* color space of a hue when observed from a direction vertical to the structural color material and a hue when observed from a direction with 30° to the direction vertical to the structural color material is 6.5 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
