To provide structural components for a speaker apparatus or the like with a material structure capable of improving the rust proof and the Young's modulus (elastic modulus).
The structural components for the speaker apparatus are various members for configuring the speaker apparatus and includes, e.g. a frame, a voice coil bobbin, a damper, a diaphragm, an edge, a cap, and a housing or the like. The structural components for the speaker apparatus includes magnesium base materials containing magnesium or a magnesium alloy, and an electrodeposition film formed on the surface of the magnesium base materials. Thus, the surface of the magnesium base materials with an easy rusting property is protected by the electrodeposition film so as to improve the rust proof performance of the structural components for the speaker apparatus. In particular, in the structural components for the speaker apparatus, fillers with a high Young's modulus (elastic modulus) replenish the electrodeposition film. Consequently, Young's modulus of the structural components for the speaker apparatus can be enhanced.
