Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide further improvement to a conventional breakwater for reversing a tsunami wave capable of effectively reversing a first wave of a large tsunami that rolled up the breakwater at a speed of about 40 km/hour toward the ocean, the further improvement being provided for dealing with a second and third waves of the tsunami and onwards that roll up the breakwater at a relatively low speed.SOLUTION: A structure of a city in the sky of the present invention has a plurality of cell-formed tanks installed on an inland side of a breakwater as underground tanks, on which banking is provided to make a developed land, on which a building, a road and others are constructed to make a city in the sky. The cell-formed tank has a through-hole opened on six or four surfaces, allowing seawater or water flow through each of the cell-formed tanks. The structure of a city in the sky is guarded by a breakwater provided also with a first head-race or a second head-race, for protecting people, properties and livelihoods from the tsunami.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
