Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a stable operation and to reduce a load applied to an axle by providing another magnetic unit group in the vertical direction of a movable element and a stator to reduce the attracting force. CONSTITUTION:A brushless linear motor is composed of a movable unit DS and a stator ST for exciting and moving it. The unit DS is formed of a movable element 1 and a wheel SR, and the stator ST is formed of a coil 4 for exciting, a permanent magnet 5, and a core 14, and a yoke 10 for forming a magnetic circuit. Further, the element 1 holds the air gap between the yoke 10 and the core 14 constant in noncontact with the stator ST, and is supported by the wheel SR. In this case, an attracting force is generated in the direction of the arrow by the magnetic force of the magnet 5. This attracting force F1 acts between the element 1 and the core 14, attracting forces F2, F3 act between the element 1 and the yoke 10, the forces F2 and F3 act in the opposte direction to reduce a distortion occurred at the movable unit DS.
