To provide a car body structure of vehicular side part capable of improving visibility of a front side part by a position of a vertical edge part, expanding visibility up to the front side part, and of improving an opening feeling, by arranging vertical edge parts in a side rear part of a front window opening part formed in the car body, and arranging the reinforcing members connected to or oppositely arranged close to rigid members of a car body side part by continuing with a lower part of this vertical edge part, and capable of improving safety at vehicle overturning time by improving rigidity of a car body by the reinforcing members.
This car body side part structure is provided with the front window opening part formed in the car body, and covers the front window opening part with a front window member 8 composed of a light transmissive material, and is characterized in that the vertical edge parts 9 are arranged in the side rear part of the front window opening part, and the reinforcing members 11C and 39 are connectedly arranged to or oppositely arranged close to the rigid members 17 and 40 of the car body side part by continuing with the lower part of the vertical edge part 9.
