Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the quality of time display by molding a distant printed board with rubber, etc., and then fitting a crystal resonator, liquid-crystal display element, etc., on the board.
CONSTITUTION: An IC10 is fitted on the printed board 1 and molded with plastic or rubber to form the outer packing of the electronic wrist watch in one body. Then, components such as the crystal oscillator, liquid-crystal display element 16 and battery 17 are fitted. Consequently, problems of the destruction of a component, quality deterioration, etc., due to heat and pressure during the molding of the plastic or rubber are solved to secure the time accuracy sufficiently, thereby obtaining the secure quality of time display.
