Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a fastener for an accessory that allows a fine adjustment of its length easily in response to a slight change in the thickness of the wrist between the morning and the evening, is durable against repeated use and impacts, easy to assemble, has a good appearance, and a reduced cost.
SOLUTION: The structure of the fastener has a push button-holding member which releasablly receives a pair of push buttons from the push button openings formed in the lateral direction of the accessory and a come-off preventing means which prevents the push buttons from coming off from the push button- holding member. The means for fine adjustment of the length of the accessory has an engagement means on the button which is slidable in the lateral direction of the accessory in concert with the operation of the push button and a slide plate which is engageable with the engagement means on the button. The fastener structure and the means for fine adjustment of the length of the accessory are mounted on the fastener body of the accessory.
