To improve housing property by providing the grip of a stick such as an alpenstock which is called a trekking pole in a shaft so as to be rotatable to ward a position nearly in parallel with the shaft.
The T-shaped grip 11 is attached to the upper end (the opposite side end of a ferrule) of the shaft 10 so as to be elevating/declining (rotation) possible in the alpenstock. That is, a pivotal part 12 is integrally formed in the upper end of the shaft 10 so as to be directed toward the extending direction of the shaft 10. In the meantime, a projecting base part 13 which is projectingly formed in an almost perpendicular direction from a grip main body is formed in the grip 11 and the projecting based part 13 is pivotally supported by the pivotal part 12 by a pin 15 so as to be freely rotatable. Besides, a screw 16 is formed in the outer periphery of the upper end of the shaft 10 and a fixing nut 17 is screwed onto the screw 16. Then, when the grip 11 is folded, the fixing nut 17 is rotated and lowered so that the support of the taper surface 13a of the projecting base part 13 by conical hole 17a of the fixing nut 17 is released and, then, the grip 11 becomes possible to be folded.
