To provide a structure for a fuel cell, wherein an electrode using a carbon nanotube is integrated with a separator; and to provide a fuel cell using the same.

In the fuel cell separator, the structure for the fuel cell is composed of an electrode layer having conductivity and gas permeability and the framework part of a separator passage, and the separator is integrated with the electrode layer. In addition, the structure for the fuel cell is formed so that the electrode layer puts a bridge or a lid on a space portion forming a passage for moving substances. Furthermore, the electrode layer is made of the carbon nanotube and/or a conductive substance having a similar three-dimensional structure.
