PURPOSE: To permit the execution of greens-planting work for water-spring areas by a method in which a water-permeable layer composed of gravel, cobble stones, etc., a water-permeable sheathing sheet, a water-holding material, a soil layer, and a greens-planting work material layer are provided in order.

CONSTITUTION: A hole 2 is drilled in a water-spring area on a slope 1, a frame 3 made of a netting plate of a synthetic resin, a metal, etc., is set around the hole 2. Gravel, bobble stones, etc., are charged into the hole 2 to form a water- permeable layer 4, and an intermediate partition plate 5 made of a netting plate is laid on the water-permeable layer 4. A water-permeable sheathing sheet 6 made of a fine synthetic resin mesh is interposed between the intermediate partition plate 5 and the frame 3, an about 10W30cm thick soil layer 7 is applied on the sheathing sheet 6, and then a greens-planting work material 8 containing fertilizer and plant seeds is provided on the soil layer 7.
