Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks from aising in continuous pavement at a highway bridge joint portion.
SOLUTION: According to the structure of the highway bridge joint portion, a pair of tooth-shaped plates 23, 23 which each have a rugged side facing each other, are arranged such that a zigzag gap is defined between the tooth plates, on an expansion spacing 2 of concrete portions in a manner movable in a bridge axial direction. Then, a continuous first sheet 11 is laid on upper surfaces of both highway bridge main bodies 1, 1 on both sides of the plates 23, 23 so as to cover the same, and binder course pavement 12 is applied to the first sheet 11 so as to cover the same. Further, a continuous second sheet 13 is laid on the binder course pavement 12, and surface course pavement 14 is applied to the second sheet 13 so as to cover the same.
