Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a battery to be held by a positive lead plate with secured force, and enable easy installation of the battery by providing the positive lead plate with both a pressing part which presses the side of the battery during its installation, and a hook part which touches and presses the top surface of the battery.

CONSTITUTION: A positive lead terminal 5 is attached to a base plate 1 of an electronic watch. A negative lead terminal 4 is installed in a battery storing part 7, with an insulating member 8 interposed between the terminal 4 and the bottom of the part 7. A battery 6 is installed in the part 7 and is tightly held by the terminal 5. The terminal 5 includes a curved part 5b which is fixed to the base plate 1, and a base part 5d. A bottom part 5g, a pressing part 5f which holds the side of the battery 6, and a hood part 5a which prevents the detachment of the battery 6 and is located over the part 5f, in that order, extend from the base part 5d. the base part 5d and the pressing part 5f are at an angle θ2 in order to make a given spring pressure to be applied on the battery 6.
