Title:
STRUCTURE FOR MELTING SNOW FOR PARABOLA ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0563434
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a snow melting structure capable of easily mounting on a standard antenna afterwards as needed and producing components at a low cost.

CONSTITUTION: In a parabola antenna with a reflection mirror 1 integrally fixed on a cylindrical center hub 2, a cover main body 6 having the same curved surface as a main mirror face 1a is prepared by using the same press type and diaphragm type. A surrounding wall 7 with the prescribed height is fixed along the circumference, which is divided into two along the diameter, making half bodies 6a and 6b. A heat insulation barrier 15 is formed by the spraying process to the inner surface of the half body. Thus obtained two half bodies 6a and 6b are installed parallely to the rear side of the main mirror face 1a putting a center hub 2 between them. A practically airtight space is formed between the main mirror face and the rear surface, and a heating unit H is installed in the space.
