Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate mounting structure capable of strongly holding a gate and enduring a long period of use when the gate is attached to a gate post body formed of an imitation stone and having a hollow part therein.
SOLUTION: A metallic reinforcing post 5 is disposed in a gate post body 2 having a hollow part 21 therein and is anchored to an anchor plate 3 provided at the lower end of the gate post body 2, in such a manner that the position of the post 5 is freely adjustable. A gap S is formed between the interior wall 25 of the gate post body 2 and the reinforcing post 5 by adjustment of the mounting position of the reinforcing post 5 and a gate fixture 51 exposed from a cutout 24 in the gate post body 2 is secured to the reinforcing post 5 to attach the gate to the gate fixture 51.
