Abstract:
To provide a structure optimization device capable of achieving a more drastic optimization.SOLUTION: A structure optimization device comprises: a design region data storage part 240; a level set function data storage part 241; and an update part 26. The design region data storage part stores data of a design region of a structure. In the level set function data storage part, there is stored the data of a level set function corresponding to an initial structure of the structure. The update part updates the level set function so that an object function indicating a performance of the structure approximates to a prescribed condition, under a prescribed constraint condition, for allowing topology change in a material region, and for optimizing the structure. In the design region, at least three material regions are set. As the level set function, there is used a plurality of independent level set functions, the level set functions respectively corresponding to respective boundaries in the design region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
