Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity and strength of a link arm fitting part by eliminating the necessity of forming the arm part of the link arm fitting part into a bored shape, thereby eliminating the necessity of forming any fragile part lowering the strength of the link arm fitting part, and securing a sufficient bolt seat surface of a hub unit fixing bolt.SOLUTION: The structure of a steering knuckle 1 includes a link arm fitting part 12 to which a link arm 8 is fitted via a bracket 9 and a bolt seat surface 6a of an upper fixing bolt 6 which is a hub unit fixing bolt disposed between the link arm fitting part 12 and an axle 3, and a hub unit 5 is fixed by inserting the upper fixing bolt 6 from the vehicle inner side of the steering knuckle 1 to disposed on the bolt seat surface 6a. The bolt seat surface 6a is disposed on a plane located more inside in the vehicle than the link arm fitting part 12.
