Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the number of the optical fibers which can be housed by forming a support for winding the surplus length optical fibers and housing the fibers into a frame in such a manner that this support can be slide freely in the transverse direction of the frame. CONSTITUTION:Rails 4 formed with T slots on the front face and side are screwed and fixed in parallel with each other apart a prescribed spacing toward the side face direction on the upper side and lower side of a back board 1 constituted via mounting fittings 2 on the deep side of the frame 58. On the other hand, an optical fiber supporting structure 6 is mounted with a mounting plate 8 slightly longer in the size of the vertical direction on the back board 1 side thereof. The front faces and side faces of sliding blocks 9 are screwed and fixed in parallel with each other apart a prescribed spacing on the supper side and lower side of this mounting plate 8. This spacing is set at such a size at which the sliding blocks 9 and the rails 4 positioned on the outer side in the vertical direction thereof engage respectively with each other and a sliding guide is constituted as a whole. The number of the optical fibers which can be housed is increased by shifting the support in the transverse direction of the frame 58.
