Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to make a thermal printing head light and smaller while achieving its low cost and improvement of printing quality.
SOLUTION: This thermal printing head is composed of a metallic heat slinger 2, a head substrate 3 equipped with a heat resistor 6, and a circuit substrate 4 equipped with a connector 10. Then, one side fringe 3b of the head substrate 3 is projected into a groove 5 provided on an upper surface of the heat slinger 2. A plurality of pieces of metallic terminal leads 9 extending toward the circuit substrate are fixed to the one side fringe. A tip of each terminal lead is bonded to a terminal electrode in each wiring pattern of the circuit substrate.
