To provide a structure of a voltage oscillator which can reduce the total height of the oscillator mounted on a printed circuit board and also can reduce the area of the printed circuit board to reduce the area occupied by the voltage oscillator by reducing the thickness of this oscillator that contains a voltage vibrator having a sealed structure.
A package main body 10 which stores a piezoelectric vibration element in a recess part formed on is top surface, a piezoelectric vibrator 3 which has a metallic cover 12 that is protruded and fixed on the top surface of the main body 10 to seal the recess part of the main body 10 and the circuit parts 4 composing an oscillation circuit are mounted on a printed circuit board 2. Then a space of the board 2 including the vibrator 3 and the parts 4 is covered with a metallic shade 5. In such a constitution of a piezoelectric oscillator, plural cut parts 6 are formed along the fringe of the under surface of the shade 5 corresponding to the outer circumference contour of the top surface of the cover 12. Then the contact is secured between the parts 6 and the outer circumference of the shade 5 to position the shade 5 to the vibrator 3, and the contact part between the cover 12 and the shade 5 is fixed by a binder 20.
