PURPOSE: To rationally install a washing machine L by effectively utilizing the under-floor storage space of a house.
CONSTITUTION: An opening 29 is formed on a floor material 9 positioned under a washstand 22 installed at a washroom 15, the lower half part of the washing machine L is stored through the opening 29 into an under-floor storage space L, and the upper half part of the washing machine L protruded upward from the floor material 9 is stored in the internal space of the washstand 22. The operation of the washing machine L and the supply and drainage of water are performed from a control panel 31 provided at the washstand 22, and the operating state of the washing machine L is confirmed from an observation window 26 provided on a door 27 of the washstand 22. Hot air for dry is supplied through a hot air duct 34 to a waterproof pan 30 to which the lower half part of the washing machine L is fitted.
