Abstract:
To provide a stud welding method for suppressing the adhesion of a plated metal to an earth electrode and earth wiring, and favorably joining a stud and a galvanized steel plate, related to the stud welding of the galvanized steel plate.SOLUTION: A stud welding method includes a process for pressing an earth electrode 9 to an end face 7 of a galvanized steel plate 1, and making them contact with each other, a process for connecting a stud 2 to a positive side of a stud welding power supply, and connecting the earth electrode 9 to a negative side of the stud welding power supply, and a process for setting a set voltage to 100 V to 160 V. It is preferable that the earth electrode 9 is pressed by an electricity-carrying jig 8 including attachment means for gripping both faces of the galvanized steel plate 1 via an insulation part, a conduction part contacting with the end face 7 of the galvanized steel plate 1, and earth wiring 13 connected to the stud welding power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
