PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for use of a study desk with an upper shelf placed on the back part.
SOLUTION: This upper shelf is equipped with a bookshelf 4 with a partition 27 fixed on a mount plate 26. The partition 27 of the book shelf 4 can be changed into a posture upward facing or downward facing. Because a space is kept in the upper side of the mount plate 26 even in the downward facing posture, books 47, etc., can be laid on the mount plate 26. Convenience for use is improved resulting from that the bookshelf 4 can support books, etc., so as to be hardly toppled down without harming the function to support books, etc.
