A horizontally long shade 46 is provided in a way that it can change its oscillating position from right to left or up and down to a tip of a movable arm 44 that extends towards the front from supporting struts 41, 42 installed in a standing manner at the center in a longitudinal direction of the desk top 3 behind a back plate 8 of a shelf appliance 2 placed at the back side of the top surface of the desk top 3. A horizontally long lamp 47 is placed inside the shade 46 and a controlling substrate 51 is placed inside a case 44a behind the shade 46. A spotlight 50 made of light emitting diode is installed to the bottom surface of the movable arm 44 through a hinge section 49 that can change its swinging posture horizontally and vertically.
