PURPOSE: To decrease the number of stages and to facilitate manufacture by adjusting the compressive damping amount of a damper between an oscillator holder and a holder support by drawing the rear end part of the holder, and then caulking an annular fixing piece to the rear end part of the holder.

CONSTITUTION: An oscillator holder 4 for holding a cantilever 2 and a holder support 6 clamp an annular damper 5. A jig body 15 holds the holder support 6 and while a holder rear end part 4b is chucked by a chuck 12, the damping amount of the damper 5 is adjusted by a weight 13. Then, a fixing piece 14 is fixed through the caaulking of clicks 16 and 16' for caulking. Thus, the number of manufacture stages is decreased and mass-production and automation are realized.
