Abstract:
To provide a styrene-based resin composition that lowers environmental load by using biomass feedstock, and has high heat resistance and transparency during molding, ensuring excellent moldability and sheet appearance when molded, and to provide a molded article thereof.SOLUTION: A styrene-based resin composition contains a resin (A) containing a styrene-unsaturated carboxylic acid-based copolymer having a styrene-based monomer and an unsaturated carboxylic acid-based monomer of 85-99.9 mass% and a biomass plasticizer (B) having a biomass carbon ratio (pMC%) of 10% or more that may be modified by a reactive functional group of 0.1-15 mass%. A plate of 2 mm thickness containing the styrene-based resin composition has a total light transmittance of 70% or more. The biomass plasticizer (B) has a modification factor by the reactive functional group of 0-3 per molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None
