Abstract:

To provide a means to obtain a styrenic resin extruded foam excellent in environmental suitability and heat insulating properties.

This styrenic resin extruded foam satisfies the following conditions (a)-(c): the average air bubble diameter of the thickness direction in the air bubbles existing in the first surface layer part is 0.05-0.25 mm (condition (a)); the average air bubble diameter of the thickness direction in the air bubbles existing in the central part is from ≥0.7 to <1.45 times the average air bubble diameter of the thickness direction in the air bubbles existing in the above first surface layer part (condition (b)); and the ratio of the average air bubble diameter of the thickness direction to the one of the extrusion direction in the air bubbles existing in the second surface layer part is 1.2-10 (condition (c)).
