The sublimation printer comprises a first torque limiter 29 acting on the rotation of a supply side ink roll 11, a second torque limiter 41, a first electromagnetic clutch 43 for turning action of the second torque limiter 41 on/off, a third torque limiter 21 acting on the rotation of a winding side ink roll 13, a motor unit 17, a fourth torque limiter 45, and a second electromagnetic clutch 47 for turning action of the fourth torque limiter 45 on/off, wherein the first and second electromagnetic clutch 43 and 47 are turned on/off depending on the number of print sheets and the winding torque and the feeding torque of the ink sheet 1 are controlled.
