Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a subnozzle for an air-jet loom having thin tip end, giving sufficiently high ejection speed even at a thin wall thickness and capable of stabilizing the direction of ejected air flow.
CONSTITUTION: An air-ejection hole 1 is formed at a closed tip end of a hollow main body made of a ceramic material. The ejection hole has a cylindrical part 2 having uniform diameter at the outer wall side of the main body and a divergent part 3 connected to the cylindrical part at the inner wall side.
