PURPOSE: To make interfaces and services various and the maintenance and use of a local switch more efficient, by constituting a subscriber responding function by means of a decentralized controlling system having a processor and made in a single channel in the unit of circuit module at every subscriber's circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A subscriber module 13-0 or an analog telephone is arranged between a subscriber and exchange and equipped with a CODEC31 having an AD conversion circuit and DA conversion circuit, BORSHT (subscriber circuit) 32, tone sending out circuit 33, push-button signal receiving circuit 34, microprocessor (μp) 35, inter-processor communicating section 36, etc. Moreover, modules 13-1 and 13-2 are sued for a digital telephone and digital customer station equipment and each module has a test spring 14, protector 15, subscriber's circuit 16, and μp 17. Therefore, difference in the response of a digital exchange itself to various subscribers is eliminated by connecting the modules 13-0, 13-1, and 13- 2 to the time division channel section 20 of the digital exchange in accordance with the function of the subscribers.
