Abstract:

To provide a substance which is extruded, has a wide tolerance in a space between a nozzle and an article to be coated and can reduce the expansion of the extruded substance on the basis of the diameter of the nozzle, when a stripe-like coating pattern is formed on the article to be coated, and to provide a method for extruding in an electric field.

This substance to be extruded in an electric field, comprising a liquid, a binder and a target substance, characterized in that the viscosity is in the range of 1,000 to 1,000,000 cPs and that electric conductivity is in the range of 10-10 to 10-4 Ω-1cm-1. The method for coating in an electric field, using an electric field extrusion head which has an introduction portion for introducing the substance to be extruded, an extrusion portion in which a plurality of nozzles linearly arranged at a prescribed distance are formed, a manifold which is used as a passage for temporarily storing the extrusion substance introduced from the introduction portion and then introducing the substance into the extrusion portion, and an electrode (voltage side electrode) disposed in the manifold, characterized by controlling the conductivity of the substance to be extruded, thus improving the extrusion stability of the substance.
