CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [Ar and An2 are an aryl or a heterocyclic aromatic group; A is a 3-8C straight-chain or an unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may contain a substituent group (an alkyl, OH, an aryl, an aralkyl, etc.); Q is single bond, CO-O, O-CO, CH2CH2, CH=CH, OCH2, SCH2, etc.; R1 to R4 are H, a halogen, an alkyl, OH, an alkoxy, an aryl or a heterocyclic aromatic group which may contain a substituent group (a halogen, an alkyl or an alkoxy; R5 to R7 are H or an alkyl; R8 is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl or an aralkyl; with the proviso that in the case where Q is a single bond, a case in which groups of formula II and formula III are both 4-chlorophenyl is omitted] such as N-{(1RS,2RS)-2-(4-biphenyl)-3-4- chlorophenyl)-1-methylpropyl}carbamoylmethylsuccinic acid.
