The noxious organism controlling agent contains as effective components one or more sorts of compounds selected from substituted benzanilide compounds represented by general formula (1) and their salts, wherein W1 and W2 are each an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, X is a halogen atom, or the like, Y is an 1-6C alkyl or the like, R1 is an 1-12C alkyl or the like, R2 and R3 are each a hydrogen atom, or the like, R4 is an 1-6C alkyl or a 1-6C haloalkyl, or the like, R5 is a phenoxy(1-6C)haloalkyl, or the like, and R6 is a hydrogen atom, an 1-12C alkyl or the like, Z is a halogen atom, a 1-6C haloalkyl, or the like, and m and n are each an integer of 0-4, and p1 is an integer of 1-5.
