Abstract:

To provide a novel substituted methyleneamido derivative useful for the treatment and/or prevention of metabolic disorder due to insulin resistance or hyperglycemia.

There are provided a substituted methyleneamido derivative represented by formula (I), its geometric isomer, its optical isomer, a salt thereof acceptable as a medicine, and a derivative thereof active as a medicine. In the formula, R1 denotes 1-15C alkyl, 2-12C alkenyl, 2-12C alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl or the like; R2a and R2b each independently denote hydrogen or 1-12C alkyl or the like; and Cy denotes aryl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl or heterocyclic.
