PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sulfonimidamide useful as a medicine for treating arrhythmia, suitable for intravenous dosage, more improved in water solubility than a well-known compound.
SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I (at least one of R(1), R(2) and R(3) is benzoylguanidine of formula II, etc.; the others are each independently a 1-8C alkyl, etc.; R(4) is H or a 1-4C alkyl) or its pharmacologically permissible salt such as 3-methylsulfonyl-4-(4-fluorobenzenesulfimidamoyl) benzoylguanidine. L of a compound of formula III (R(1)", R(2)" and R(3)" are each as shown for R(1), R(2) and R(3), respectively and L is an eliminable group readily necueophilically removable) is substituted with guanidine to give a compound of formula I.
