Abstract:
To provide a substrate apparatus improved in productivity of liquid crystal cells and panel numbers.
Super spacers 25 are disposed to intervene between a first large substrate 2 and a second large substrate 3, in positions between a boundary line of adjoining liquid crystal cells 4, 4 and OLB (outer lead bonding) terminals 22, opposing to the ends of the respective OLB terminals 22. Even when each liquid crystal cell 4 is segmented along the boundary line between adjoining liquid crystal cells 4, 4, the super spacer 25 prevents the OLB terminal 22 from peeling. Thereby, an excessive cutting margin between adjoining liquid crystal cells 4, 4 is reduced to improve the productivity and panel numbers of liquid crystal cells 4.
