Title:
SUBSTRATE FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5716457
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent white spots on an image due to pinholes of an aluminum vapor deposited face, by using a tough and flexible resin film as a support, vapor- depositing aluminum on the film to give conductivity, and forming a low resistance resin layer.

CONSTITUTION: A resin film is used as a substrate for a photosensitive sheet. Vapor deposition of aluminum is applied to conductivity enhancement treatment, but it causes white spots on an image due to presence of pinholes, so it has never been practically used. Forming a low resistance resin layer on the aluminum vapor- deposited face permits the parts of pinholes to be covered with the resin layer and white spots on an image to be prevented. As the resin layer, a low resistance in the middle region between insulator and conductor, such as 104W1012 range Ωcm is preferable, and a water-soluble resin, such as gelatin, casein, or polyvinyl alcohol, or an organic solvent-soluble resin with an amine compound added is recommended.
