To provide a substrate film for display excellent in gas barrier properties, adhesion and bending resistance, and an organic EL element reduced in deterioration with the elapse of time.

The substrate film for display is composed of at least a transparent plastic film, an inorganic thin film and an active ray cured resin layer. The active ray cured resin layer comprises a resin layer formed by curing a composition containing 50 mass% or above of a compound, which has a plurality of oxetane rings, each of which is represented by general formula (1) wherein R11-R16is a monovalent substituent, L1is an m-valent bonding group, m is an integer of 2 or above and, when m is 3 or more, a plurality of R14-R16may be different, by active rays.
